Year of establishment of the department:   1966.  Pre University Course was started from this year. From 1967 Degree classes started with Physics as a pass course. Major course was introduced in the year 1975.

    The department publishes a wall magazine named 'Physica'.

 

Facilities:

  • The Deptt. has full fledged laboratories equipped with all the requisite apparatus.

  • It has separate laboratories for Higher Secondary, Degree Major as well as Core courses.

  • Also it has a well equipped library with books, journals etc. for the students.
