B.C.A. Course:

        From session 2006-2007, the department has started the three years B.C.A. Course affiliated to Dibrugarh University. This is for the first time in North Lakhimpur that the B.C.A. course is offered by North Lakhimpur College and the college is getting overwhelming response from the students. Otherwise, many of the students from Lakhimpur and the neighboring districts had to go outside for seeking admission to the B.C.A. course The  department is taking help from the teachers of other departments of the college as well as outside the college to carry out the B.C.A. course smoothly.

• Research Activities: Presently pursuing research work in the Deptt. of Computer Science and Information Technology, under the guidance of Dr.      S.K.Sinha, Reader, Deptt. of CS & IT, Tezpur University on the topic “Conceptual Modeling of Effective E-governance Solution”

• He has computerized the North Lakhimpur College Students' Union Election as well as the admission system of the college.
