The 3 (three) years (six semester) BCA Course is a Dibrugarh University recognized Degree Course, started in North Lakhimpur College from July’2006. There are six semesters covering three calendar years. Each semester covers 600 marks and every paper of each semester carries 100 marks. The main objective of this course is to produce skilled computer graduates in softwares.

Requisite qualification : Students seeking admission into the BCA Course will have to pass the HS exam in any discipline with atleast 45% marks in aggregate, with Mathematics as their Compulsory subject. Also they have to appear in an Entrance examination conducted by Dibrugarh University during the Month of June to qualify for the same.

Frequency of Admission : June – July every year.

Frequency of End Semester Exam : June–July and December–January every year, conducted by Dibrugarh University.
