Learning Resources of the Departments- Library computer and other resources: The Department has 772 number books in the Departmental Library and one computer and LCD projector. To reflect the study of Assamese Cultural History, the department has formed a mini museum in the department.

Modern Teaching Methods and use of ICT in teaching-learning :

The audio-visual teaching method is applied by almost all classes of the department using LCD projector.

The department has an action plan for the next five years. It has plans for achieving the following targets:
